Summary
Here’s a great, simple, inexpensive, two-place VFR standard category plane. Colt’s were built by Piper in the early 60’s as their training aircraft to compete with the Cessna 150. The book cruise speed is 108 -115 mph (depending on altitude) while burning only 6 gallons per hour. Our Colt just passed its Annual inspection and has only 235 hours since overhaul. In fact, the engine alone is worth the price we’re asking for the entire plane!
Even though the plane is inexpensive it comes with a lot:

Exterior and Interior Condition:
The fabric and overall cream exterior paint is in good condition, but the red trim paint is very faded. There is some cracking of the paint, but that is purely cosmetic. Windshield was replaced in 2002 and is great. The interior seating surfaces are in great shape but the carpeting is showing its age.
