Summary
Our newest donation is this 1972 Cherokee 235, Piper’s version of the C-182. It will carry 4 adults, full fuel and baggage at over 150 MPH! It has only 3,500 TT and a strong mid-time engine, 827 SMOH. The large baggage door, 200 lb baggage capacity and easily removable rear seats provides plenty of loading options. The paint is glossy (with some imperfections) and the interior is in good shape. It has been upgraded with a Garmin 430 GPS Navigator but the rest of the Avionics look original (No ADS-B). The 235 was donated from Oakland, CA where we had the Annual Inspection performed. The flight in from Oakland went well, with minimal squawks.

Exterior: Overall White with 2 tone Red Striping. Overall “glossy” condition with some imperfections: Fiberglass – cowl and wingtips – has cracking and paint flaking, some areas of aluminum surface showing.
Interior: Beige and Taupe Seating and Sidewalls, white headliner and black carpeting in good condition. (Replaced in 1997).
