In 2024, we started its Annual and discovered that the valve guides had worn excessively. Our plan was to utilize our engine overhaul experienced volunteer and IA to perform the overhaul in-house. Our volunteers tore down the engine and turbo system. Unfortunately, since then the experienced engine volunteer has passed away and the IA has left, so we no longer have the experience to perform the engine work ourselves. We’ve reevaluated aircraft needs and no longer need the G33 in our fleet and we don’t have the funds to pay for the engine overhaul. We are allowing the buyer to have 6 months of “free” hangar rent and use of our engine hoist and other normal equipment required to put the G33 back together and get it Annualed.
