Summary
Here’s your opportunity to own a nice G33 Bonanza that has many performance upgrades plus a newer Garmin avionics suite, including the G500 Auto-Pilot and very nice Paint & Interior for just $100,000! 6,794 TT, 1,215 SMOH, on engine and prop. The upgrades include:
- Continental IO-520-BB, (increase of 25 HP)
- Turbo Alley Turbo-Normalized System (SE5222NM)
- Beryl D’Shannon 15-Gal Tip Tanks (GW increase to 3,465, UL = 1,171)
- GAMI Injectors (SA00432SE)
- Garmin Avionics, installed in 2023: 750Xi, GI-275 AI & HSI, GFC-500 2 axis A/P, 255A Nav/Com, 345 ADS-B Transponder
The only catch is that engine and turbo have been disassembled and need to be overhauled. The G33 was donated to our charity 10 years ago and we’ve used it as our utility plane over the last decade. In 2024, we started its Annual and discovered that the valve guides had worn excessively. Our plan was to utilize our engine overhaul experienced volunteer and IA to perform the overhaul in-house. Our volunteers tore down the engine and turbo system. Unfortunately, since then the experienced engine volunteer has passed away and the IA has left, so we no longer have the experience to perform the engine work ourselves. We’ve reevaluated aircraft needs and no longer need the G33 in our fleet and we don’t have the funds to pay for the engine overhaul. We are allowing the buyer to have 6 months of “free” hangar rent and use of our engine hoist and other normal equipment required to put the G33 back together and get it Annualed.
It’s a great opportunity for the right mechanic/pilot to get a good-looking high-performance, very capable Bonanza at a bargain price!
Purchases from Wing of Hope help fund our domestic and international medical air transport programs.
