Summary

The owner aged out of flying and donated his PA-24-250 to Wings of Hope with just over 2,300 TT and 890 since it was remanufactured by Lycoming. He had owned the Comanche for 49 years! Unfortunately, it has been sitting for a while; last Annual was in 2016 and it has only 27 hours in the last 23 years. It does have a Garmin 530 and a complete panel of older avionics. The exterior appears to be original paint with a nice patina (though oxidized, its only worn off on the leading edges and one area on the cowling). The interior is a tan/brown leather that has some cracking. The carpeting and headliner look good. No corrosion is evident (Comanches were zinc chromated at the factory). Its hangared on a beautiful 2,400’ grass runway (Argyle NY – 1C3) in upstate NY. Comes with a Comanche Service Manual, 4 DC headsets but no battery. It does have damage history; Gear Up in 1966 and a 1990 hangar mishap which required replacing the Vertical Fin (the original one is in the hangar).
